Abstract Text One of the key operational requirements for thermal power plant boiler is to achieve adequate mass flow of coal particles in the sections of the mixture channel and the burner channels. The requirement is invariant, whether classic technology (with black mineral oil) or plasma technology for fire stabilization is used. In order to adequately direct coal particles, the shutter system is positioned in the mixture channel. Each of the shutter groups have its own proposition and can be positioned in various angular positions. The results present influence of each of the shutter groups on coal powder mass flow distribution in the mixture channel on thermal power plant „Nikola Tesla” – A1. The results are obtained by numerical simulation. Input data in numerical calculations, such as velocity and concentration profiles in the inlet cross section were uniform. The results include coal powder mass flow distribution in each of eight sections and mass flow distribution in the left and right part of the mixture channel. « hide
